IFA operates as a series of regions with teams for boys and girls aged 9–19; the strongest players are selected into Elite Development Squad (EDS) teams. Boys compete in MLS NEXT, girls in GA Aspire and DPL.

No tryouts, registration is open to all Granby players. Grades 3–6 play in the Roots Soccer League and must confirm or create a player account with a photo; kindergarten through 2nd grade play in a South Hadley-run in-town league.
